If you’re looking for a quick 80/20 rule on how to be happier in your life within 7 days, then do the following:
1) Wake up in the morning and think of 3 things that you are grateful for
2) Before you go to bed, think of 3 things you are grateful for
Do this for 7 days in a row and you will feel at least 10% happier.
Try it, and post your results in the comments below.
(I will explain why this works in a later article. For now, just consider trying it. Some things you can only learn by doing, not by reading about it. This is one of those things.)

I have been doing the 5 things that I’m grateful for every morning, and have definitely seen a big bump in our happiness level (though quantifying that would be quite interesting :)).
I’ll try the 3 things before end of day and report back.
Being a long-time student of Victor’s, I created a personal framework on that matter long since, so it didn’t take much thinking to come up with that list 😉
I have been doing this for sometime and it definitely has a considerable impact. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
